A VuDu news release? (Sept. 10, 2007) …and a busy summer it was. The ‘Du has been adding to the songlist, and to the venue list! In addition to the Flying Pig Roadhouse in Lake Dallas and McCarty's Tavern in Richardson, the band is excited to be booked at 2 Bubba Moose locations; Allen and Lewisville, Monkey's Pub & Grub in Sachse, and SeaDogs Restaurant & Patio in Dallas’ West End. A big VuDu shout to Bill at the Flying Pig Roadhouse ! Bill has the band scheduled through June 2008. “The Pig” is a great establishment, has a great stage, and it’s always a good time. Speaking of great stages, Deja VuDu was honored to be the first band to play on the new stage at Monkey's Pub & Grub! The band had room to “work” and had great fun. Much thanks to Brent and Joann for having us back at Monkey’s in Sachse! The fall months will find the ‘Du spreading out in our quest to conquer the Metroplex. Upcoming new venues include the Rock Star Sports Bar in Ft. Worth; Weekends Restaurant on Lake Ray Hubbard in Rowlett; Dick's Last Resort in Dallas West End and Rob's Billiards & Sports Bar in Euless. We hope to see y’all in the new venues. |
