HAPPY NEW YEAR from Deja VuDu! (Feb. 14, 2007) Let's see; first let's say congrats and best wishes to Lina, as she will be taking some "maternity leave"! Filling in for Lina, we are very fortunate to have April Mae helping us out in the next few months. April has worked very hard in the past weeks, and the band is all the better as a result. Deja VuDu had the privilege of honoring Air Force A1C Brandon Byers at one of our shows at the Do Drop In. Brandon is the son-in-law of Crude, our sound tech. Brandon was injured while serving in southern Iraq, and is now home in Las Vegas; stationed at Nellis Air Force Base. All our best to Brandon and his wife, Megan, and daughter Cameron. Deja VuDu is getting booked in some new venues in the coming months; McCarty's Tavern in Richardson, and Stroker's Ice House in Dallas. We recently did a show at the Flying Pig Roadhouse in Lake Dallas which turned out to be a good ‘un! Thanks to Bill and the staff at the Flying Pig Roadhouse for asking us back!
