I started playing bass in 1979. After a few short lessons at the local guitar shop, I got together with two school-mates and formed a band called Omega. After a couple of 'garage shows' and a show at our junior high school carnival we disbanded and went our separate ways. I went on to play in various bands throughout the early 80's. I played in the usual places, bars, clubs, house parties and such but, the most success for me came when I was chosen to play in a band called Vengeance. They were a heavy metal group who also did shows outside the metroplex. We played in Houston, The Woodlands, Galveston and San Antonio. Up until then, I never did a show out of town so,it was quite an experience and alot of fun to say the least. I took a break from playing to help raise two beautiful daughters, Erica and Rebecca. I picked up the bass again in the summer of 2004 and have been playing ever since. My influences: Rudy Sarzo, Geddy Lee, Steve Harris, James Jamerson, Paul Mcartney, Stanley Clarke, and Jacco Pastoria.
